About me

I didn’t grow up on a large farm or in a long agricultural lineage. My family simply had a few acres, a handful of animals, and the kind of rural quiet where you could hear my uncle’s baler clanking across the road. Down the way sat an old dairy barn that had long stopped operating, yet to me it felt like a monument to something bigger. Those small, ordinary moments became the first sparks that shaped a lifelong curiosity about where our food comes from and the people who make it possible.

Over time, that curiosity grew into something deeper. Food, in every form from cultivation to cooking, has become the lens through which I understand the world. It is one of the rare experiences shared by every person on the planet. I have made it a personal mission to explore that shared experience, to ask better questions, to trace stories back to their origins, and to understand the systems that quietly nourish billions.

That mission led me to pursue an M.S. in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University and an M.B.A. in Food and Agribusiness Management at Indiana University. Today I work just beyond the farm gate in the ingredient industry. My focus is helping brands, developers, and scientists translate raw materials into foods that matter. I work at the intersection of food science, business strategy, and storytelling, where my goal is to bridge the gap between what is technically possible in the lab and what is truly valuable in the marketplace.

At the core of everything I do is a desire to connect dots. I want to bring growers closer to global markets, pair scientific breakthroughs with real human needs, and shine a light on the people whose labor and knowledge form the foundation of our food system. I do not claim to have all the answers. I am committed to the pursuit, the questions, and the belief that a better food system begins with more thoughtful conversations.
